Container cap wadding system

Cap wadding system

One of the greatest modern conveniences is so commonplace that we tend to overlook it. We are referring to the caps on bottles and other containers. Thanks to them, the contents are kept in excellent condition, both in terms of temperature and taste.

But it is also accessible at all times by means of a simple mechanism that offers safety at the same time. And to reach this point, it is essential to have a suitable container cap wadding system.

There is no one container capping system that is better than another. In this case, there is a diversity of systems and each of them has its advantages according to the type of containers or closures to be placed.

First of all, you must know what types of bottles and closures you are going to make. With this information, you can start looking for a machine according to your particular needs.

The parts of an effective capping system.

A good container capping system consists of a series of stages. Each of these involves certain equipment. The most important aspects are described below:

  • Conveyor belts

There are linear and rotary conveyor belts. The former are slower and transport the bottles in a straight line. The latter are faster and move in circles.  They are not the capping system itself, but involve the movement of the bottles or containers.

  • Heads

These are the ones that place the caps. These adapt to both the type of cap and the type of bottle. They are interrelated with the pick-and-place and theft-at-the-pace systems to pick up the caps supplied by the feeding systems.

  • Feeding systems

They are in charge of taking the caps from their collection point, elevating them and making them available to the heads.

With the aforementioned elements, a container cap wadding system is configured in an integral way. We manufacture each of these parts.

Why a container capping machine?

In the chemical and food industry, no two containers are the same, whether in terms of properties, content or regulations. The container capping system must be specific for that particular container or cap, otherwise, it will even be counterproductive.

They have specialized machinery for the capping of containers according to the needs of each customer.

Because in addition, it is not a capping machine that only places the cap and that’s it. It is a complete system integrated by conveyor belts to move the bottles or containers. It also includes the heads that place the caps and that must adapt to both parts, container and cap.

In addition, there are the feeding cap wadding system that provide the caps and place them in such a way that they are available to the heads.
